X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a hack-and-slash action-adventure game based on the same-named film. With a third-person view, X-Men Origins draws inspiration from titles like God of War and Devil May Cry. There is a lot of blood in the Uncaged Edition as well. In addition to the graphic depiction of Wolverine’s healing factor, enemies may be killed in a variety of methods. The storyline is a combination of the Wolverine backstory explored in the film and a Raven Software original plot inspired by important events in the X-Men comic series.
