Spider-Man 3 is an open-world action-adventure video game released in 2007. It is largely inspired by the same-named film. The story of the game builds on the film by adding characters and elements from the Spider-Man comic books as well as other Marvel properties. Different villains from the comics are included depending on the platform. However, all versions of the game contain the film’s three antagonists: New Goblin, Sandman, and Venom.
Similar to its predecessor, Spider-Man 3 is a third-person action-adventure video game set in an open world based on Manhattan, where players take on the role of Spider-Man and complete missions with set objectives to progress through the story.
